EDE 325: Technology for Educators: Enhancing Teaching and Learning

Course Description:                                                                     4.5 CEUs

This professional learning course is designed to empower educators with the knowledge and skills needed to integrate technology effectively into their teaching practices. Participants will explore various educational technology tools, strategies for digital pedagogy, and best practices for using technology to engage students and enhance learning outcomes. This course provides educators with a well-rounded understanding of technology’s role in education, from basic digital literacy to advanced integration strategies. It empowers teachers to adapt to the digital age and create engaging, effective, and inclusive learning environments.

This course helps educators to meet some of the ISTE (International Society for Technology in Education) Competencies for Educators.

 

Materials Required:

● Ability to connect to the Internet – high speed connection preferred.

● Current browser such as Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.
